« My name is Sturle Dagsland and Im an artist from Norway. Im touring Europe in September/October/November.
And Im looking for a concert in Paris either the 1, 2 or 3 October. From what I can see la societe de curiosites have arranged some really cool events in the past, and Curiosites / In fact would be my number 1 choice for an event to play in paris.
I hope to hear from you as soon as possible. »
« My name is Sturle Dagsland. Im an artist from Stavanger, Norway. I explore the human vocal chord and create music together with my brother Sjur. When performing we alternate at playing on an array of different instruments blending acoustic instruments like the chineese sheng, african kalimba, and our french-made spacedrum, ++ with electronic sounds from Computers & machines, all with an ever-changing explorative vocal in front.
When I first discovered La societe de curiosite we immediately thought that this would be the perfect place for our first concert in France to be held, and so we are very pleased that we got the opportunity, and we are really looking forward to playing. »
Et enfin :
« A unique sound and voice » future sound share
« Takes what we call singing to a whole new level » Demobanken
« This 3 piece group from Norway play a huge variety of instruments blending into the most unique sound ive heard this year…. The resulting sound and sound effects would be brilliant as an accompanying soundtrack to an art house film, pushing the boundaries of rhythm and style » – lpproject.co.uk
« It’s rare to find a song that sounds so different, so unusual and so appealing all at once. It occurred to me at one point that this might be what poking your head into an alien nightclub sounds like. » – anewbandaday.com
Sturle Dagsland consists of the norwegian artist Sturle Dagsland & his brother/producer Sjur Dagsland. They won « Aspiring artist 2012″ in Copenhagen august 2012 and have toured all across europe ever since.
Alternating at playing on an array instruments including spacedrum, waterphone, trumphet, accordion, sheng, electronics, computers, guitar, etc. They create an expressive-progressive soundscape surrounding Sturle unrestrained vocals ranging from ravening feroucious screams to virtous angelic chanting. »
